Nigeria’s leading female flutist, Ebele Ezeamakam, was on the set of Hip TV recently where she talked about being the first prominent female flutist in the country. She was the only gospel artiste called upon to be part of the performing artistes at the launch of A-Listers Magazine, published by Mr. Okey Dimoji and Chairman, Board of Trustees of West African Music Awards (WAMA), Dr. Tee Mac. The event which was used to inaugurate WAMA also featured artistes such as Ruggedman and Jaywon. She performed live with Tee Mac, her role model and male competitor. Ebele whose new album, which include a Hip Hop track, is almost complete, has continued to headline various big shows within and outside Lagos.
