Cristiano Ronaldo ‘feels great’ after 66th career hat-trick in Al-Nassr’s win

Cristiano Ronaldo has notched his 66th career hat-trick in a resounding 6-0 win for Al Nassr over Al Wehda in the Saudi Pro League.

The legendary footballer, a five-time Ballon d’Or recipient, has been in scintillating form, tallying an impressive 32 league goals this season.

With just two goals shy of Abderrazak Hamdallah’s record of 34, set in the 2018-19 campaign, Ronaldo’s performance has been nothing short of remarkable with four games still remaining.

Ronaldo wasted no time in making his mark on the match, breaking the deadlock in the fifth minute after capitalizing on a defensive error from Al Wehda’s goalkeeper Monir El Kajoui.

His dominance continued just seven minutes later when he nodded home a precise cross from Marcelo Brozovic, further extending Al Nassr’s lead.

In the second half, Ronaldo exhibited his clinical finishing once more, securing his hat-trick with a well-placed shot from just inside the area, sealing Al Nassr’s seventh consecutive victory.

The Portuguese superstar’s hat-trick, comprising goals scored with his left foot, right foot, and head, propelled his season tally to an impressive 45 goals at club level, his highest since his remarkable 51-goal campaign for Real Madrid in 2015-16.

Taking to Instagram, Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his elation, stating, “Feeling great, thanks team and fans!” as he basked in the glory of yet another stellar performance.

With this emphatic win, nine-time Saudi Arabian champion Al Nassr closes the gap to just nine points behind league leaders Al Hilal, setting the stage for an exciting climax to the season.
