Police Arrest Ifatunde Awogbemi Over Alleged Money Ritual Case Along Epe Road

The Ogun State Police has arrested of one Ifatunde Awogbemi along the Epe Road in connection with an alleged money ritual case.

According to eyewitness accounts obtained that, the arrest followed a tip-off from informants based in Oshogbo, Osun State, who alerted the Ogun State Police of suspicious ritual-related activities allegedly linked to the suspect.

The arrest was carried out on April 4, 2025, after law enforcement agents swiftly moved in on the intelligence provided. Further investigations are ongoing as the police work to uncover the full extent of the alleged crime.

In the course of the preliminary investigation, a certain Adebayo Martins was named by the informants as an alleged associate of Mr. Awogbemi. However, the suspect has denied any affiliation with Mr. Martins, insisting he acted alone and he is not a ritualist.

The public should remain calm and continue to provide credible information that could aid the investigation. They assured that justice will be served in accordance with the law.
