Big Brother has handed out a series of warnings and punishments to housemates following repeated breaches of the rules in the Big Brother Naija house.
In a post on its X page on Sunday, Oyin and Chimsom Chuka were sanctioned for damaging or attempting to damage house property, while Abi and Keivo were punished for pouring water on their microphones. As a result, the pair will miss the upcoming Pool Party.
Nomy, who already has one strike, was also issued a warning over repeated lateness, disobedience and what Big Brother described as selective participation in mandatory activities.
The most serious disciplinary action involved Sultex, who was evicted from the house on Sunday. Before his eviction, he was placed on behaviour probation with a final warning following repeated threatening remarks towards fellow housemates.
Big Brother described the conduct as “extremely dangerous” and cautioned Sultex over the seriousness of the behaviour. Tram and Yusuf were also cautioned against similar conduct.
In a further punishment affecting the entire house, Big Brother announced that the housemates would have no hot water for the rest of the week. They were also instructed to keep all communal areas “spotlessly clean.”
With multiple housemates now facing sanctions and warnings, Big Brother made the consequences of breaking the rules clear: “Actions have consequences.”
The latest disciplinary measures serve as another reminder to the housemates that continued violations could lead to more serious consequences.
